Sonal Rup is an aspiring writer from Tāmaki Makaurau who lives in Melbourne with her husband. She is studying towards a Master of Creative Writing at Massey University, aiming to create fiction inspired by the history of Indian Indentured Labourers in Fiji and their diaspora. When she isn’t studying, reading or writing, Sonal loves to cook, go for long walks and explore nature.
