Lena Fransham is a writer and editor from the east coast of Northland. She has an MA in Creative Writing from Massey University and her fiction and nonfiction have appeared in Overland, Takahē, and other publications in Aotearoa and Australia. In 2015 she was co-editor of Pukeahu: An exploratory anthology. In 2021 she was an administrator for the NonfictioNOW2021 conference in association with Massey University. She is currently dividing her time between Wellington and her hometown in Northland while completing a collection of short stories around the theme of silence.
